January weather, really?

I cannot believe the weather in January here in Southern California. Everywhere else north east of us have been forecasting the ice caps and I am doing a post with light layers focused on this fringe owl number and stretchy lace leggings I designed. So there you go!

Fur'k, baby it's cold outside: 3 outfits/1 little black dress

I made this dress way awhile ago and am now just finally posting it. I love the sexy cut-out design giving the body illusion of impossible curves. There is an elegant feeling given by the long sleeves, high neck line, and lace all over. A great piece to wear on a cool breezy summer night on a date or a special event might I say!

I thought I should end the year with a bang and do three outfits for my last post of the year withis pretty little number. Bare with me because there are LOT'S OF PICTURES. Let me know which one you like:) Can you tell which one's my fave?

simple and easy, right?

Labor Day Trippin Outfit

This weekend my boyfriend and I went to hang out in Catalina Island. Our time there was amazing! Right from the boat ride on the way there. We ran into friends and a coworker, saw a pod of dolphins swimming with waves the boat made behind us, and star gazed over the dark ocean. Then arriving to a welcoming small town night life on a cool shore breeze. Discovering the very next morning on our run along the edge of earth that the water surrounding us is sooo clear you can see everything below! It's so amazing this wonderful place is just a boat ride away from the crowded city of Los Angeles. Why didn't we do this sooner? Well, here's my outfit for this post. The brown polka dots on navy ground is a design of mine from a company I worked at. It's a sheer number suitable for the high temperatures which we were spoiled with on this weekend. I paired the top with some denim shorts and sheer laced thigh highs under a pair of black multi-buckled cut out booties. Not your usual resort or beach attire but I love it nonetheless.
